NanoCode

Coding and AI for ages 10 to 18

Say it. Build it.
Run it on a real robot.

Most coding classes start with syntax. NanoCode starts with what you want to happen. Tell the robot, watch it move, then open up the blocks, the data and finally the code until you understand every piece.

Works in the browser with a built-in robot simulator. No hardware needed to begin.

  1. 1

    Create

    Say it, see it happen

  2. 2

    Tweak

Change a value, watch the robot

  3. 3

    Build

    Blocks and flowcharts

  4. 4

    Observe

    Live data and confidence

  5. 5

    Understand

    Code and hardware

Everything in one place

The textbook, the AI trainer and the coding environment used to be three different apps. Here they are one loop.

Start with a sentence

“Make the rover stop before the wall.” The co-pilot writes the program and the robot does it.

One program, four views

Natural language, blocks, a flowchart and real code are the same program. Switch whenever you like.

Real hardware, zero setup

Plug in an Arduino, ESP32 or micro:bit and NanoCode finds it. No drivers, no baud rates.

Watch the data

Sensor readings, motor commands and AI confidence scores stream in live while the program runs.

Train your own AI

Teach a model with your webcam or mic, then use it as a block: when the camera sees a fist, raise the arm.

Graduate to code

When you are ready, fork the blocks into Python or C and keep going.
